Pazin Folklore Group

Pazin Folklore Group is an association which has been carring for Croatian folklore for more than 50 years. It has a hundred members, of which as many as 90 are children and youth from 3 to 20 years.

Its primary goal is to preserve traditional dances, songs and music from Istria, but also from other parts of Croatia. Some of the songs and dances you will hear on their concerts are Istrian polka, Ballo de Cusin, Balun from central Istria, balun from a village Cere, and dances vith accompaniment of string instruments typical for their region; Rašpa, Mazurka, Stara polka, Dolenjski valcer, Sette Passi Promjena, Cotić, Štajeriš, …

At this year’s folklore evenings their guests will be KUD Mendula from Medulin and Folklore group Barban from Barban. Together they will present folklore from all parts of Istria.
